About Vegetarian Lunchbox

Hi,

My name is Claire. I am the author of vegetarianlunchbox.com. I live in Gloucestershire in the UK. I am married and live with my lovely husband Steve (a carnivore!) along with our 2 cats Barney and Milo "the boys". I work full time in healthcare.

I have been a vegetarian since I was around 14yrs old. However, my gran always said I was born vegetarian! As a child, I would usually leave most of the meat or fish on my plate and just eat the vegetables. I just did not like the stuff!

One day, I realised that there was an alternative and I did not have to eat meat and fish to stay healthy. Thank goodness for that! On the downside, I have loved food ever since!

Over the past few years, I have become more interested in health and diet. Although a vegetarian diet can be healthy, it is easy to fall into the trap of eating too many dairy products, processed foods and sugary drinks.

I take a packed lunch to work most days. I started to look for more healthy and tasty options. Bored with the usual cheese sandwich, I wanted my lunch to be a healthy treat in the middle of the day!

Having gathered ideas over the past few years, I decided to create vegetarianlunchbox.com to share my ideas with others. The recipes on this site are mainly healthy options (with odd exception!). They are also quick to prepare. I for one do not have a lot of time to spend creating tomorrow’s lunchbox.

I hope you enjoy browsing. More recipes will be added over time, so don’t forget to pop back.

A Website of Your Own

Collecting the information for this site is the easy bit. Having had no previous experience of building a website could have been a huge problem.

I searched the internet for advice on building and hosting a website. However, I kept coming back to a system called Sitesell. I could not have made a better choice. Everything I needed to start a website along with fantastic support.

All I can say, if there is anyone out there who is thinking of building their own website, whether as a hobby or to make some extra income, have a look at what sitesell has to offer.

If I can do it, so can you!

P.S. If you have some questions about Sitesell and would like a personal reply, click here
